Xerif was originally an early screenwriting website that metamorphosed into the Virtual Script Workshop that ran online screenwriting courses between 1995 and 2007 with Birkbeck College, University of London. However, online courses never sustain themselves, however much effort is put into them, and it gradually faded away. So now the site has been reborn as John Hobson tries to record the random chaos that makes up life.
